We understand that circumstances change, and you may need to cancel your insurance policy. This Refund Policy explains how premium refunds are calculated and processed.
When you cancel your insurance policy, you may be eligible for a premium refund based on the unused portion of your coverage period. The refund amount depends on when the cancellation occurs and the type of policy.
Most insurance policies include a free look period, typically 15-30 days from policy issuance. You can cancel during this period for a full premium refund with no questions asked and no penalties applied.
If you cancel after the free look period, you may receive a pro-rata refund for the exact unused portion of your coverage period, or a short-rate refund where a small administrative fee is deducted.
To cancel your policy and request a refund, contact our customer service team, submit a written cancellation request with your policy number, and specify the desired cancellation date.
Once your cancellation is approved, refunds are typically processed within 15-30 business days. The refund will be issued using the same payment method you used for premium payments.
